For over eight years I was partners with a top food photographer in Chicago. Most of that time I spent retouching and color correcting food for a variety of clients like McDonald’s. However, during that time I discovered I really enjoyed the art of food photography. I also had the opportunity to observe some of the top food stylists in action. Omaha has a long tradition as a food producing city with its former stockyards, and now as headquarters to ConAgra, and Omaha Steaks. Omaha also has plenty of great restaurants and the Local Community College is opening a new $16 million building and conference center for its very own Institute for Culinary Arts.
